Real stories. Real people.
Long-form conversations with people who turned hard seasons into purpose, and the places that have shared our story. It's all about human connection.
What is The Pursuit with Dr. Pat®?
The Pursuit with Dr. Pat® is a podcast and video series hosted by Dr. Pat Pachciarz®. Each episode is a long conversation with someone who has lived something real: trauma survivors, coaches, educators, caregivers, founders and wellness leaders.
We started it for the same reason we built Pinnacle Coordinated Wellness: people heal and grow faster when they hear from others who've walked the road first. 17 wellness, family and human-connection episodes are listed below, newest first.
What can you take from these conversations?
Five takeaways that connect to wellness and human connection. Each one is paraphrased from the episode and linked so you can hear it in the guest's own words.
Why do people carry pain for so long?
Many people know something is wrong but don't know where to go, so they pull back and carry it for years. Dr. Marty K. Casey puts it this way: “Trauma is transferable. And so is healing.” That's why we build a circle, so no one has to find the door alone.
From Dr. Marty K. Casey, Episode 4 (April 16, 2026), The Pursuit with Dr. Pat®. Paraphrased.
What are the early yellow flags?
Jose Mendieta talks about catching what gets missed early: changes in insulin sensitivity before diabetes, hormonal shifts before the crash, and weight that won't move. His point: the answer was never a quick fix. It's a new identity.
From Jose Mendieta, Episode 3 (April 8, 2026), The Pursuit with Dr. Pat®. Paraphrased.
Why do high performers fall apart quietly?
Sarah Shortridge describes how high performers often struggle behind closed doors and perfect calendars. Insight alone rarely changes anyone; the daily work does. That's the Awareness pillar of DAITT®.
From Sarah Shortridge, Episode 7 (May 1, 2026), The Pursuit with Dr. Pat®. Paraphrased.
What does wellness get wrong?
After 25 years in workplace wellbeing, Lexie Dendrinelis says the real gap isn't apps or step counts. It's the space between knowing what to do and becoming the person who does it.
From Lexie Dendrinelis, Episode 6 (April 28, 2026), The Pursuit with Dr. Pat®. Paraphrased.
Is there a way out of PTSD?
In a short video, Dr. Pat Pachciarz® shares that it took 30 years to learn his brain wasn't getting the blood flow it needed. His message to veterans, abuse survivors and trauma survivors: there is a way out, and you don't have to figure it out alone. This is his personal story, not medical advice.
From Dr. Pat Pachciarz®, short video (March 10, 2026), The Pursuit with Dr. Pat®. Paraphrased.
Guests share their own experiences and views. Nothing here is medical advice. Talk with your own licensed clinician about your health.
